At Redwood City, we are part of a team that manufactures medicine for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We also support the development of new inhaled medicines.
What you’ll do:
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the office, laboratory, and manufacturing areas, including:
Maintain a safe work environment and work in a safe manner
Operate and maintain critical facility and utility equipment, including HVAC, water systems, waste treatment, and nitrogen.
Plan and schedule, corrective, preventive, and calibration work orders, with customers
Maintain accurate records keeping equipment and systems cGMP compliant at all times
Assist in all facility services including physical security, waste removal, recycling, central services, office furnishings and office equipment, garment services, and janitorial
Ensure manufacturing and all labs and lab personnel are supported to meet business needs, including lab gases, preventive maintenance, equipment service contracts, calibration, and safety equipment
Essentials:
High School diploma
Minimum of five years of maintenance, facilities, or manufacturing operation
Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 100 lb. of equipment or supplies
Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and or reach for 75% of a shift
Ability to stand, walk, and/or move about for 75% of a shift
Be available for on-call rotation, and come on-site after hours
Desirable:
Experience in a commercial cGMP manufacturing environment
Trade certification in relevant discipline
Knowledge of facility equipment and systems, including: HVAC, electrical, process systems, plumbing/piping, pneumatics, automation, general maintenance, and pest management
Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics
