At Redwood City, we are part of a team that manufactures medicine for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).  We also support the development of new inhaled medicines.

What you’ll do:

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the office, laboratory, and manufacturing areas, including:

  • Maintain a safe work environment and work in a safe manner

  • Operate and maintain critical facility and utility equipment, including HVAC, water systems, waste treatment, and nitrogen.

  • Plan and schedule, corrective, preventive, and calibration work orders, with customers

  • Maintain accurate records keeping equipment and systems cGMP compliant at all times

  • Assist in all facility services including physical security, waste removal, recycling, central services, office furnishings and office equipment, garment services, and janitorial

  • Ensure manufacturing and all labs and lab personnel are supported to meet business needs, including lab gases, preventive maintenance, equipment service contracts, calibration, and safety equipment

Essentials:

  • High School diploma

  • Minimum of five years of maintenance, facilities, or manufacturing operation

  • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 100 lb. of equipment or supplies

  • Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and or reach for 75% of a shift

  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or move about for 75% of a shift

  • Be available for on-call rotation, and come on-site after hours

Desirable:

  • Experience in a commercial cGMP manufacturing environment

  • Trade certification in relevant discipline

  • Knowledge of facility equipment and systems, including: HVAC, electrical, process systems, plumbing/piping, pneumatics, automation, general maintenance, and pest management

  • Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics
