Job Description

The Role

Our locations are on the front lines of our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Facilities Managers are the backbone of our stores and jack-of-all-trades. You will be responsible for making sure our locations operate as effectively as possible, having everything needed to offer an exceptional experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly touch base with each store coordinator within territory and ensure sign-off on store coordinator checklists
  • Ensure compliance with head office directives (through store coordinators) as it relates to any operation experiential change and audit as appropriate
  • Ensure all stores within territory are maintained to current brand standards
  • Assist with fleet management through ensuring all stores comply with standard configuration and showroom staging guidelines
  • Manage new store openings (NSO’s) within territory, utilising store opening timeline and store opening checklists for each new store
  • Assist with small works projects as needed and directed by facilities team for retail, service, office, and lab locations
  • Assist as-needed with ad hoc projects such as pop-up shops and shop-in-shops
  • Visit each store within territory on a quarterly basis
  • Drive workplace operations through the establishment and program development of office management, facilities management, strategic space planning, moves, and small works project
  • Develop and maintain workplace operating budgets and provide reporting to the department financial analyst
  • Maintain the office standards to the Workplace Guidelines
  • Continuously improve the workplace experience for all offices and labs in the region
  • Help identify, manage and measure suppliers needed to support the facilities
  • Manage routine and emergency repair/maintenance requests for all locations
  • Identify, manage and measure recurring services (i.e. HVAC, paint, landscaping, snow removal)

 

Requirements

  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-starter who is goal-oriented, highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Positive, enthusiastic and passionate mindset
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license in the country in which you are applying, 2-year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history
