As a Facilities Mechanical Technician (Days and Nights) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Support factory tool installs, de-install, and construction activities.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties.
• Assignments are semi-routine with work performed within generally defined parameters.
• Run and maintain facilities systems with a focus on mechanical systems (working knowledge of boilers, chillers, exhaust, and HVAC equipment a must).
• Cross-train in facilities operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

his is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

• Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in a STEM degree.
• 1+ years of mechanical, facilities, or technical experience.
• Certification in any STEM or any other technical field of study.
• Military Experience considered in lieu of degree.

The candidate must be willing to:

• Work in an environment with chemicals and gasses, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
• Lift up to 30 lbs., pull 250lbs. at least once a day, and spend the majority of the time (greater than 90 percent less break time) on the floor working on toolsets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.
• Work a compressed workweek schedule ' Shift is twelve hours long and rotates from three to four days a week.
