Responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties. Assignments are semiroutine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in a STEM degree.
3+ years of mechanical, facilities, or technical experience.
- 6+ years of mechanical, facilities, or technical expertise in lieu of a degree.
- Certification in any STEM or any other technical field of study.
- Military Experience in a STEM area considered in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Maximo and ICMTL, SPEED a plus.
- 3+ Years of experience in:
- Industrial mechanical systems operations and/or vibration analysis.
- Role modeling safety behaviours and influencing team members.
The candidate must be willing to:
Work in an environment with chemicals and gasses, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
Lift up to 30 lbs., pull 250lbs. at least once a day, and spend the majority of the time (greater than 90 percent less break time) on the floor working on toolsets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.
Work a compressed workweek schedule ' Shift is twelve hours long and rotates from three to four days a week.
