Eaton at CPD PCD Division is currently seeking for a Senior Engineer - Facilities Services to join our team. This position is based at our Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic facility. The role will be responsible for: Job Summary This position is responsible for managing the activities, services, logistics, contractors / 3rd party vendors, coordinations of EHS and maintenance required for the current and future needs of the building and grounds for the Santo Domingo Design Center. Responsible to have the utilities needed to operate the laboratories. Coordinates activities as Shared Services from the Haina site. Job Responsibilities Responsible to coordinate the execution of key operational services for the building, including but not limited to: waste management, water supply, energy supply, interior and exterior conditions, cleaning, primary landscaping, utilities maintenance, lighting, air conditioning, security, IT connectivity, among others. This in alignment with Facilities Shared team Designs, develop and administers policies and standards relevant to the site operations ( ex. facility communications and signage) Act as liaison between the different Eaton Design business units and Operational functions located at the Manufacturing Plants. Ensuring effective communication of all facility related topics/items. Support and coordinates transportation and logistics of items in and out the building following stablished policies, regulations, and standards (e.g., materials, goods, samples, supplies). Maintain vendor relationship and participate in the negotiation of key services contracts, with building suppliers / outside contractors to optimize budget and resources. Sustains and improves administrative 5S standards. Coordinates applicable CI/Lean activities in the office: (equipment preventive maintenance, Kaizens, administrative process flow, etc.) Participates and develops building’s risk assessment, including MOC (Management of change), contractors on-boarding trainings, visitors badge ID process, permits submissions to comply EHS /LSR requirements and regulations. Identify and supports capital requests and its implementation related to common areas/equipment and leasehold improvement. Supervise that all requisitions to run the building are properly submitted by each function and ensures the goods or services are received according to purchasing terms. Oversees all maintenance work orders and their execution while providing periodic reporting Coordinates with the corresponding teams, the installation of new equipment, testers and/or office items. Order various items for functions requirements (based on Purchasing process) on p-card, manage expense reporting and the invoice process #LI-AR7 Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in industrial Engineer, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or other related engineering fields. Years and area of experience required: 3-5 years of experience working in operations, engineering, facility, maintenance or other related fields. Minimum 3 years’ experience managing projects. Technical knowledge: Bilingual (English /Spanish) MS Office knowledge. Prefer PBI Basic knowledge and operation of power generator, compressor water pumps, HVAC systems, IT network, electrical equipment. Preventive Maintenance (buildings and/or equipment) Safety standards / regulations knowledge and Purchasing and Contractors management Lean Tools knowledge (Continuous Improvement) Preferred: ISO14001/9001 certification Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
