Job Description

The Facilities Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining quality of the facilities and service delivery by vendors for Bay Area locations.  Assures smooth operation of the facility to minimize impacts to occupants for maintenance and project work.  Serves as the primary communications interface between the facilities organization and building occupants.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of Bay area Facilities, with attention to attainment of operating objectives, cost containment, and quality of delivered services/products as measured by internal customer satisfaction.
  • Participates in specific projects to deliver enhanced or improved services/products.
  • Identifies specific areas for process and program improvement and implements enhancements through assignment and management of appropriate personnel.
  • Participates in planning strategies in response to corporate business plan objectives.
  • Directs studies to analyze and develop more efficient and cost-effective means of supporting the business.
  • Perform quality control audits and monitor production through KPI’s.
  • Participates in flexible operating expense and capital budgetary strategies to effectively accommodate significant changes to business conditions, opportunities, and requirements.
  • Continues to find ways to increase quality of customer service
  • Ensures Contractor performance aligns to the scope of work.
  • Coordinates transition of new facilities from the construction team to the operations team.

Skills

  • Well organized, self-directed and able to balance multiple planning projects while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experienced in the use and practical application of MS based software (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Autocad, CAFM (computer aided facility management software), Maximo experience preferred.

Education

INCUMBENTS ARE PREFERRED WHO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. Degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Construction/Facilities Management, Architecture.
  • 5+ years significant business experience in high technology industries.
  • Proven track record in delivering customer satisfaction.
