Job Description
Job Summary Will be responsible for managing the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for the facilities equipment, leading the work team to achieve the best results, focused on reducing equipment downtime, as well the improvements that can be implemented to the different teams to obtain the highest efficiency from them. Work as a team with related departments to meet the requirements that may be needed according to the needs of the plant. This is a leadership role where the individual is responsible for providing direction, guidance and support for all direct and indirect reports. Individual will be primarily responsible for the safety, efficiency, productivity, engagement and overall effectiveness of the equipment engineering improvement workforce. The role also includes development and execution of the reliability improvement and equipment maintenance strategy, development and execution of the annual repair budget. Primary Responsibilities Will provide technical support. Control of machines down time Planning of future activities Coordinate daily activities with the team Direction and hands-on to the plant in terms of equipment repair and functionality of the machinery and equipment at the fabrication area. Provide support to equipment installs and creation of robust PM procedure for the machinery – training. Troubleshooting and TPM Qualifications referred Qualifications Knowledge of facilities maintenance and reliability concepts and application. Understands lean manufacture philosophy and implementation. Demonstrated leadership. Demonstrated ability to create and sustain change. Demonstrated ability to engage a work force. Maintenance engineer: facilities, maintenance and projects. Knowledge of preventive maintenance on air compressors, HVAC units, cooling towers, Transformers, extractors, etc. Project management for facilities installations, layout modifications, electrical installations TPM implementation on facilities equipment Request spare parts Budget control Education/Previous Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience (Mechanical Engineer Preferred). Three years of relevant facilities maintenance or equipment engineering experience.
