As a Facilities Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties.
• Assignments are semi routine in nature.
• Work performed within generally defined parameters.
• Have some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
• Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

• Associate degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Water, Industrial Waste Water, Chemical, Electrical.
• 1+ year of Military experience.
• 1+ year of Facilities experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in:

• Operating and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment:
  • Plumbing
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Heating and cooling systems
  • Fixtures and systems
  • Ultra-pure water systems
  • Liquid Industrial Waste systems
  • chemical and gas delivery systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and testing of campus smoke and heat detection systems as prescribed by local code.

• Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software
• Understanding and diagnosing analytical data using Cimplicity.
