Responsibilities
The Facilities Officer reports to the Account Lead. He/she is responsible for the operational duties in a particular site/location.
? Coordinates and oversees repair and maintenance projects with vendors and contractors.
? Conducts site inspections at client’s operations to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
? Acts as a liaison between clients and account lead.
? Assist in the evaluating the vendor procurement and management practices of your designated site and ensure negotiation and tendering, including tender documentation; evaluation of tenders and preparation of contracts is in accordance with agreed client procurement guidelines.
? Co-ordinate and monitor the contractor management program ensuring all vendors comply with all aspects of their agreement.
? Monitor the Preventive and Planned Maintenance programme to mitigate operational risks.
? Ensure consistency of operational policies & procedures.
? Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
? Proactively manage client’s expectations ensuring that the service levels are well maintained. Actively involvement in the monitoring and achieving the required Key Performance Indicators.
? Assist in the budgeting process as required.
Requirements
? Minimum of a college’s degree, engineering, HVAC, automation speciality is preferred.
? 10+ years of experiences in facility management
? Good interpersonal skills with a strong client focus
? Strong written and oral communication skills in English & Mandarin
? Must be proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS
Office, E-Mail etc.
? Should be with Project Management experience.
? Vendor management experience.
? Minimum 5 years leading role with subordinate no less than 3 persons.
