We are looking for a Facility Service Engineer to join our Advanced Optics Team. Working on Microsoft HoloLens you will be part of an organization which consists of professionals from the fields of optics, mechanical engineering, micro- and nanofabrication, and process technology.

In this role you will focus on developing cleanroom facilities and ensuring that the facilities run without downtimes, and solving related technical issues. You will collaborate within the internal teams and suppliers. You have excellent understanding on building technology, such as HVAC/Automation/Electricity, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and capability to find quick solutions for unexpected problems. With your strong support attitude, you will keep the facilities working correctly and enable the success of other teams. You are able to plan ahead and react to symptoms before they become problems. Furthermore, you will develop the building technology to become more cost effective and environmentally friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the current facilities, including cleanrooms
  • Plan and execute the yearly maintenance breaks
  • Support technical experts in other teams (e.g. tool installations and maintenance)
  • Collaborate with external suppliers

Qualifications

  • Strong background (at least 3 years) in building service in a relevant field, e.g., cleanrooms
  • Proven track-record of facility service
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated to take personal ownership and deliver results while working in a highly challenging environment
  • Good understanding, optics, lithography, manufacturing, chemistry is preferred
  • Hands on attitude
  • Growth mindset
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. degree with background in Automation/Electrical/Building or relevant field
