What will you do? As Head of finance for the GIS Operations at the factory in Verna, Goa you will be responsible for leading the finance team. As an active member of the business unit leadership team, You would be directly responsible to ensure an high level of financial integrity and performance of the factory. You would be leading two or three teams having an overall strength of about 9/10 employees You would be reporting into a matrix organization and have a dual reporting to the sub-segment Finance head at Headquarters and to the business unit finance head in India The key deliverables and responsibilities would be • Act as a reliable partner to the Factory head in steering the business with reliable management information regarding cost transparency, financial results including P&L, cashflow management and overall smooth operations • Lead the financial planning and reporting activities for the factory including the annual budgeting ( factory target agreements), forecasting and monitoring of financial performance versus the budget • Maintain the Integrity of books and records in terms of Siemens financial reporting guidelines (IFRS) as well as Risk and internal controlling requirements • Compliance and clean business are a vital part of the operations, you would be acting as a role model and always ensure complete adherence to the Siemens compliance policy and business conduct guidelines • Lead the adaptation and improvement in the digitalization and automation initiatives within the finance team and in financial processes • Ensure reliability of the costing and configuration tools to provide accurate product costs as well as enable timely actions to improve the cost competitiveness of various products. • Hands-on guide in directing the team in various SAP activities including maintenance of the activity types, hourly rates and product cost sheet in SAP, Sales and Production order controlling. You need to have a sound understanding of the FI/CO/PA/SD&MM modules of SAP • As a part of the cashflow management, monitoring and controlling of working capital particularly inventory, capex and payables You will be required to work in person in the Verna Plant, Goa. What will you need to succeed? • Post-graduate in accounting, CA/ ICWA / Masters from reputed institute will be preferred. • Knowledge of IFRS and local reporting systems/environment • Knowledge of Siemens reporting systems/environment is preferred • 7-10 years of relevant experience of which at least 3 years in leading teams • Experience in a factory Controller role with a medium to large size manufacturing organization (preferred in handling engineered product), significant experience working in a multi-national environment and in a matrix organization. • Extensive knowledge of product costing • ERP (SAP) and Finance systems knowledge • Demonstrated leadership capability • Capable to successfully manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements • Autonomous, self-driven • Collaborative, team player with strong interpersonal skills This job is based out of Goa, India WE’VE GOT QUITE A LOT TO OFFER, HOW ABOUT YOU?
