You will provide financial and controlling expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance for specific factory. This is a Factory Financial Analyst role, reporting to Factory Controller in Business Area Electrification, Smart power.
Your responsibilities
- Performing analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions. Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers and working with factory management team to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identifying trends.
- Preparing financial modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the factory with special focus areas: product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis/inventory analysis, incl. cycle count results.
- Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting and validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
- Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
- Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements and maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Your background
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and / or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in controlling function, business controlling, CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Good to have strong financial background, structured and result oriented controller with focus on internal controls and processes.
- Required to have a broad knowledge of diverse financial functions in manufacturing and general business.
- Strong knowledge and experience in SAP and MS Office, power BI is a plus.
- Should be fluent in English and Mandarin in both speaking and writing.
- Demonstrated analytical and cross-cultural communication skills and high level of collaboration and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated good problem-solving skill, approaching problems with open mind and persistence in order to deliver on time with high quality.
