Department of Photonics, National Sun Yat-Sen University

The department of photonics at National Sun Yat-sen University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor). Candidates should have an earned doctorate in the related fields of Electro-Optical Engineering (photonic materials and devices, optical communications and optical interconnect, or display and regenerated energy). The department is interested in candidates with a strong commitment to research and teach at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Exceptionally strong applicants in all areas of electro-optical engineering will be considered. Technical areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, III-V and group IV optical materials, devices, and the related photonics integration.

Applicants should prepare the following documents and submit by email before Oct. 31 th, 2018.

(1) A curriculum vitae and a copy of Ph.D. diploma
(2) A statement of teaching and research plans
(3) one representative publication and no more than five reference publications within the last five years
(4) Three letters of recommendation
