Job Description

  • Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product yield, quality and/or reliability.

  • Evaluates the electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems to determine the root cause of failure with combination of electrical, material and mechanical knowledge.

  • Analyzes failure reports and recommends corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems.

  • Uses all standard and advanced electronic test equipment such as Electrical validation, SEM, FIB, 3D -Xray, FTIR, X-prep CNC precision, Ion Milling, etc.

  • Maintain necessary records and reports.

  • Candidate will also support new product transfer and startup and the automation and improvement of the failure analysis process.

  • Strives to proliferate shared learning across sites, demonstrate leadership skill to initiate and form a team to drive improvement with respective stake holders.Performs other related duties as required or as directed.


Qualifications

  • Master's or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Microelectronics, or equivalent majors.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.

  • Able to manage project, lead improvement experiences with leadership skills are added advantage

  • Fresh Master graduate or at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
