Job Description

Fairmont Gold Attendant

Fairmont Gold Attendants are devoted, empowered and engaged ambassadors that provide intuitive and elevated service by continuously observing, speaking to and learning from our guests and adapting their experience.

Fairmont Gold is an exclusive sanctuary, offering a unique and personally curated experience within the historic Fairmont Century Plaza. You are energetic and confident, and will encourage your teammates to achieve and be positive.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty 
• Provide anticipatory and engaging service to include but not limited to refreshing Fairmont Gold guest drinks, clearing plates and re-filling plates as needed
• Assist fellow Heartists with the removal of soiled dishes, glasses, silverware, linens and other duties associated with bussing a table, as necessary
• Engaging with guests as they enter the lounge, providing attentive yet not overbearing service for breakfast, mid-day snacks, and evening sweet treats.
• Ensuring honor bar (alcoholic beverages) are well stocked and able to provide table side service to anticipate guest needs.
• Provide dining room service, offer anticipatory refilling of beverages or food items and clearing tables after guests have concluded their meals.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Experience in a 5-star hotel as an asset
• High School diploma required, a post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus
• Experience in a Food & Beverage operation is required; 5 Star Hotel experienced preferred
• Fluent spoken and written English
