Job Description

Child & Family Services has an opening for a full-time Family Services Coordinator in
the Fairfield area.

Responsibilities include: Partnering with parents of young children through goal-
oriented relationships to support parent-child relationship building, health outcomes,
financial stability, employment and education pathways, social connections, leadership
and advocacy; providing support and family engagement mentoring to multiple
classrooms; implementing outreach and recruitment strategies; and supporting families in
the enrollment process.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in field related to Human/Social Services or Early
Care & Education. Must be eligible for LSW certification. Experience working with
families with young children required. Must demonstrate strong skills in interpersonal
work, written and verbal communication, documentation, critical thinking, proficient
computer skills, group management skills, and awareness of community resources. Must
be able to meet requirements of agency and state child care licensing regulations for
background checks, including fingerprinting and physical exams.
