Maxim is seeking an Entry-Level Field Applications Engineer to support assigned IC products through the full product life-cycle. Assignment may be in Maxim’s industrial, medical, communications, automotive, or mobility solutions groups.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support to our key customers

• Be responsible for providing technical expertise through sales presentations and product demos

• Assist the regional sales in assessing potential applications of Maxim products to meet our customer needs

• Deliver accurate technical information to our customers on how to use our products

• Help customers troubleshoot their systems and solve their technical

• Mine customer requirements for product improvements and future product development

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree plus 4-8 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor or board level circuit design

• Understanding of transistor-level circuit design

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Reporting Structure
This is an individual contributor role, report to Huawei Account Manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support and provide coverage to all Huawei R&D teams for technical initiative, discussion and debugging activities.
• Focusing on Comm Power; Automotive GMSL/Power.
• Handle Huawei local QA debug issues.
• Take charge of all new design win parts’ survey issues.
• Provide technical support and consult to sale team and customer to enable key projects design in/win.
• Bridge customer and BUs for product promotion and product definition.
• Win projects and socket to enable account sales plan.
• Gather and summarize customer technical requirement for industry trend analysis and technical discussions.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSEE or MSEE with at least 5 years experiences in Semiconductor.
• Knowledge in Power and Automotive parts, specifically in Automotive power design.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive & self-starter.
• Ability to handle multiple customers/projects simultaneously.
• Good written and oral English will be better.
