The APAC Pharma Analytics (PA) Field Applications Scientist (FAS) shall harmonize with global Go-To-Market vision by ensuring regional alignment with PA business unit (BU) FAS metrics. Plays a leading role to develop APAC-wide FAS processes and toolboxes that enhances regional expertise, builds regional self-sufficiency and scalable strategic capabilities to support future business growth. Complements (not duplicate) local technical teams and fills support gaps as needed. Be an integral part of a dynamic high performing organization with a strong collaborative culture that bridges across regions, business units, and divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Engagement

• Lead/Support escalated PA enquiries and product complaints
• Fill local PA pre- and post-sales support gaps
• Champion Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives, e.g. Gemba
• Ensure Salesforce.com adoption for metrics aligned with PA BU

Regulatory Consultancy

• Advise bioproduction product features that enable regulatory compliance
• Provide guidance on regulatory strategy during evaluation, qualification, and validation of bioproduction solutions
• Address customer enquiries from their meetings with regulators

Capability Development

• Identify and address technical training needs
• Build effective shared technical toolboxes, mailboxes
• Contribute to global SME (Subject matter expert) and SPOG (Single point of contact) networks

Drive Collaborations

• Develop synergies across APAC R&D, manufacturing, demo sites
• Organize field team involvement in R&D
• External: Participate in technical conferences/industry body forums

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering) Masters or PhD degree preferred
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
• ​Experience working within the Biotech, Biologics, Life Sciences, and/or Biopharmaceutical industries in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing capacity
