CET Electric Technology Inc. is looking for a Field Application and Commissioning Engineer to support the APAC Project team for projects mainly in the Hong Kong area. This position is based in Hong Kong and will report to the APAC Project Manager. Successful candidate is required to travel to ShenZhen occasionally, detail-oriented, self-starter with a high level of integrity and personal responsibility, and will always be open to feedback.

The roles:

- Prepare and perform site surveys, test/commissioning activities for power/energy metering system and communication network system

- Software Installation, firmware upgrade and system fault investigation

- Documentation preparation, such as test specification, test report, commissioning report

- Execute on-site testing work with end-client

- Report directly to Project Manager for defects and work progress

- Work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks simultaneously

- Manage short deadlines with competing demands

- Work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements:

- Hong Kong residence is a must

- At least Diploma in Electrical & Electronic, Computer and Communication Engineering or other relevant subjects

- Proficient in Mandarin (Putonghua) and English (both written and spoken)

- Preferred to have a good understanding of 3-phase power systems.

- Good hands on experience in network equipment such as routers, switches and etc…

- Knowledge with Serial (RS-232C/RS-485) and Ethernet networking as well as communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, Modbus, DNP, BACnet

- Hong Kong Registered Worker/Electrician is a plus

- Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint

- Fresh graduate will be considered. Experience in Engineering or Commissioning is definitely a plus.
