Being a Field engineer provides a challenging technical opportunity to work at the heart of intel.
Working as a bridge between manufacturing, validation teams and tool design engineering teams, Field Engineers use validation teams and manufacturing inputs to develop, test and implement complex hardware components into the eco-system.
Responsibilities include working with senior engineers to define SW and HW functionality requirements, writing the tests, documenting and implementing the solutions.
In addition, Field Engineer is responsible for debug software and HW issues.
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
o Enabling new HW components within systems.
o SW and HW validation tests (write and execute) to ensure quality.
o Writing automation scripts (SW) to execute the tests (and cover the HW components).
o Design review (board HW)- participate and provide inputs.
o Learning and adjusting system per validation teams.
o Debug and troubleshooting issues within the system.
o Collect information, analysis data and provide summary reports.
o Produce detailed technical documentations including Platform User Guide.
Setup and accomplish intern training plan with Mentor's help.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
o B.Sc in: computer science, electronics engineering or electrical engineering (with minimum 2 years till graduation).
o Practical electronic engineer is a plus.
o Availability to work 3 days a week or more.
o Great team work
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
