What is this role?
The field marketing manager is responsible for supporting the definition, planning and executing of the North and South America Marketing plan in support of the Regional commercial organization’s priorities.
Working very closely with the Regional Sales Management and Global Marketing teams (Product, Campaigns, Demand Generation and Content), the Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving Marketing activities supporting new business acquisition, cross-sell and upsell opportunities and in addition, supporting sales to move existing opportunities through the sales funnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Field Marketing Management & Sales teams to understand sales goals, targeting and selling strategy to develop marketing plan, mix and tactics to support regional business priorities.
  • Plan, Develop and implement tactics supporting the regional priorities including targeted events, webinars, outbound marketing, digital marketing, sales enablement, etc.
  • Research, choose, design and execute events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
  • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs, training and content.
  • Forecast, measure, analyse and report on impact of the marketing activities.
  • Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to the marketing activities
  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling
  • Communicate with the sales team to keep continuous alignment around planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business and strategic goals to articulate valuable insights and flow them to through the global marketing organization.
  • Collaborate with all functions of Marketing to bring alignment with the regional marketing priorities.
  •  Provide regular updates on industry, company and contacts to assigned sales reps to identify potential selling opportunities.
  • Manage the regional Marketing budget to drive optimized investment and ROI.
  • Liaise with Field Marketing Managers in other countries across both areas of the business, as well as Corporate Marketing to share best practices.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, communication and marketing efforts and use insights gained from this process to develop action plans for improving own programs.

Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of operational marketing experience, B2B marketing experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and relationship skills
  • Solution minded, proactive, autonomous and driven for result.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a range of people at different levels across the company.
  • Proven experience working closely with sales teams and supporting programs to drive impact on commercial performance; actual sales experience is a big plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in tight deadline
  • Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, any design tool a plus
  • Excellent team player
  • Able to work across multiple regions and supporting multiple sales teams
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements

Desirable
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Studies or similar
  • Experience in a start-up or other fast-paced transforming environment
  • Understanding of marketing best practices in a digitalized world
