You will be responsible for the full marketing mix for your product area, including the creation and implementation of marketing strategy for your respective portfolio at a country/zone level. This is a role with great variety where you will engage with almost every function across the Eaton business at both a country and EMEA level. You are empowered to drive its success by working with a diverse range of stakeholders across our business and with our customer base. The role is home based, but we would ask candidates to see the value in meeting colleagues and customers face to face when opportunities arise. Essential functions to the success of the role: mastering an understanding of macro and competitive environment in your market, identifying opportunities & threats to your business and acting upon them through appropriate strategic approaches (inc Play To Win) developing and executing successful integrated campaigns– selecting and deploying tactics (digital & physical) with highest potential for ROI and acting as the champion for managing resulting leads maximising the potential from your product portfolio through tactical selection and execution of appropriate promotion (push/pull/thought leadership/PR), price actions, mix management, enrichment and lifecycle management understanding the target personas for your offers and develop and articulate strong value propositions. supporting segment based campaigns – helps to clarify target personas and product propositions most relevant in your market creating new/complimentary content and assets based on local market needs (complimenting existing BU and segment) e.g. web pages, social content, press releases, catalogue/brochure content representing the interests of Eaton with relevant trade organisations acting as the eyes and ears for our business units – identifying new product opportunities and contributing to product specifications + business cases for development, based on emerging market needs/the competitive landscape acting as a partner to our sales community: providing guidance on customer/market opportunities, support directly in securing new business (input to pricing), delivering product/solution presentations and training (F2F or remote) contribution to Eaton’s annual profit planning process support Eaton’s SIOP process –forecasting for NPIS/phase out and campaign activity and supporting in the maintenance of SAP identifying and maintaining an appropriate price strategy for your offer Essential skills To be successful in your role you will have or be prepared to develop the ability to: be passionate about data - confident with the use of data and data analysis tools (e.g. Power Bi, excel pivot tables) allowing you to make the complex appear simple confidently present value propositions to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at an executive and operational level be digitally savvy - identify and understand external digital trends/tools and their impact on Eaton. Adopt and fully leverage internal tools to grow our business efficiently be flexible to adapt to changing market dynamics and business needs create strong networks inside and outside Eaton – ability to drive change and results through others have a strong appetite for ongoing learning and development.
