Eaton’s WrightLine business is currently seeking a Field Project Manager to join our team. This position can be based at an Eaton facility or from a home office in the following states: TX, IL, CO or IA and within 50 miles of a major airport. Position Overview: The Field Project Manager is responsible for setting and managing daily service schedules in the company data systems in accordance with ISO 9001 process guidelines with focus on providing quality customer service. In this role, you will successfully manage customer order projects to fulfill business and contract obligations. Responsible for quoting, pre-planning, coordination, and successful execution of large projects from contract to closeout. The focus (90%) will be on managing hyper scale data center air management system (AMS) projects for key customers. Essential Functions: Set and manage daily service schedules in the company data systems in accordance with ISO 9001 process guidelines with focus on providing quality customer service Successfully manage customer order projects to fulfill business and contract obligations. Manage daily inflow of requests for Project Management quotes in accordance with response objectives. Ensure that all projects are quoted in compliance with the profitability objectives of the service organization. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, service contractors, carriers, and sales team and Eaton personnel to achieve the highest level of service delivery satisfaction. Audit contractor performance to ensure contractor compliance with policies, procedures, contractual terms and quality objectives. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required Minimum five (5) years of on-site project management in a technical field No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of a major airport in Texas, Illinois, Colorado, or Iowa will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: PMP Certification (will be required to get certification within 18 months of hire) Working knowledge Project Management philosophies and toolsets Working knowledge Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Project Ability to read and understand construction engineering drawings and takeoffs. Demonstrated experience in Modular/Systems furniture and/or Data Center equipment installation industry with a focus on construction Demonstrated experience in training, selecting, and managing contractors/subcontractors Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Project Understanding of Project Management philosophies and toolsets 7+ years of project management and or field service experiences Field project management experience in a construction setting. Working knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. OSHA 30 certification (will be required within 30 days of hire) Manufacturing industry experience Position Criteria: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Experienced in communication effectively with customers and service vendors Creative thought processes to drive solutions Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
