Field Sales Leader- Grocery, Territory- Liverpool

 

Salary: £44,689- £55,861

 

The Field Sales Leader job is a Team Management role, the incumbent would have responsibility for the coaching, training, developing and motivating of a team of 10 Customer Development Representatives (CDR’s) on a Region. Their team would shape the ‘the last 10 yards’ in Modern trade retail calls on a Region which consists of Grocery and Discounter calls. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to develop leadership skills, focus on team development and engagement and field based business performance. A Field Sales Leader must develop RSV / GSV / NSV sales on their area to best effect and focus on specific KPI’s that drive sales in each Region.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Proven Sales experience required, that could be in Field or in other Commercial roles including Category, Operations, and National Accounts
  • An individual that has or wants to develop their leadership skills
  • Someone that is effective at build teams and maintaining engagement
  • Strong organisation and planning skills

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Manage a team of 10 CDR’s in the modern trade
  • Stand out as a leader in the team and the Northern Management Team
  • Hit agreed KPI’s including Coverage, Completion, Merchandising and Physical Availability
  • Focus on Engagement and ensure that you build a mutual, fun and diverse team
  • Be part of the Northern Divison Management team and contribute to the direction and performance of the Sales Division
  • Build strong in call relationships with store managers and staff
  • Ensure the highest standards in the team and conduct field back checks to ensure consistency of work
