Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Service & Systems Division is currently seeking a Field Service Associate to join our team. This position will be based in our Grapevine, Texas facility. Essential Functions: Provide field service assistance to customers by supporting Eaton field service representatives by performing installation, testing, startup, maintenance, repair, and electrical power distribution equipment modification. Mechanical and basic testing skills will be needed to provide the necessary support. Skilled proficiency in the following: Basic Test Equipment Operation – Multimeter, megger, and ductor. Mechanical skills related to cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of mechanical equipment. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Grapevine, TX will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: 2-year technical degree or similar experience in military training Experience in basic testing and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable. Experience with warehousing, material handling, and industrial truck operation. Position Criteria: Basic computer skills Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment. Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction. Submit to the periodic customer-required background and drug screenings.
