Semiconductor Field Service Engineer
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) to increase the Service Team of Agrate (MB-Italy).
TECHNICAL AREAS:
- CMP – Chemical Mechanical Polishing
- PVD – Physical Vapor Deposition
- Ion Implantation
The following technologies are also considered:
- RTP – Rapid thermal process
- CVD – Chemical Vapor Deposition
General Profile:
The ideal candidate has technical experience in maintenance and troubleshooting on complex equipment in high-tech industries. Installation and start-up capability is a plus. Experience in semiconductor industry, vacuum systems, mechatronics is welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Applies all Safety measures at all time
- Works with limited supervision within the established company procedures and practices.
- Performs equipment installation and start-up
- Execute all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines.
- Troubleshoots technical issues on equipment.
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware issues thru understanding of software and process data as needed.
- Performs upgrades and retrofits on equipment.
- Ensures to apply the correct procedures and checklist for maintenance both corrective and preventive
- Understands and uses correctly technical schematics.
- Understands and implement correct work methodologies and procedures as per company and customer quality standards.
- Anticipates and responds to equipment issues and escalations in a timely manner
- Collaborates and communicates with company stakeholders
- Participates in internal and customer meetings.
- Within assigned scope, assist management in operation of site service business.
- Assists Applied Materials field management in establishing and achieving objectives for assigned account.
- Keeps field management informed on customer perception of system performance.
- Takes initiative to avoid and resolve customer problems.
- May occasionally initiate projects to drive down costs or increase uptime.
- May work in shift depending on assignment
- Travel flexibility is required

- Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with colleagues and customers
- Communicates and presents effectively technical content in a clear manner during customer meetings

Computer Skills:
- minimum capabilities required: Outlook, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- additional capabilities welcomed: advanced software skills, industrial automation, problem solving thru software analysis, software coding, Server administration, Computer analyst.
Education: Technical 3 years Degree or Technical Diploma
Languages: Italian, Good English
Experience: Minimum 1-2 Years, more is welcome
