Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To support all system and technical issues related to primarily direct customer or reseller / distributor engagement, including:
  • Carrying out system installation, upgrade, corrective and preventive maintenance in the field and responsible for related troubleshooting;
  • Working with Customer Service and other internal department to support field services including various types of tests (related to registration, compliance, clinical), customer demo, seminar, exhibition and road shows, training, on-demand repair and installation – together with necessary documentation;
  • Delivering customer training on the usage of relevant device and systems instruments and provide telephone / tele-support to the customers and resellers, internal department as necessary;
  • Maintaining relevant technical content working with development lab, manage such information management systems and library;
  • Preparing various analysis reports for testing or CAPA activities;
  • Participating in development and implementation of internal processes and systems to effect better care and support;
  • Maintaining and developing positive relationships with customers and resellers;
  • Accountable for both technical and telephone support to end-user customers and other channels / partners
- Actively giving feedback to Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Development, other relevant teams and management to improve the quality of product, service as well as customer experience


Qualifications & Skills:

  • University’s Degree in Biomedical, Electronic / Electrical or other or equivalent engineering degrees; would also consider other disciplines with relevant and solid work experience
  • At least THREE TO FIVE (3-5) years of solid experience with electronic repair and troubleshooting to component level and preferably experienced with class II and III medical equipment or device
  • Must be fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin a must, Cantonese also preferred but not necessary) and English
  • General computer and MS Office application knowledge; conversant with other engineering and electronics tool-kits and applications.
- Willing to travel extensively to customers' sites or project / incident location (Guangdong province primarily and occasionally Beijing or Shanghai)
