Field Service Representative |English /French job description.
The Field Service Representative services, repairs and performs preventative maintenance for a variety of instrumentation in the field and in the shop. As well as provides installation and calibration of instrumentation, offering support to Sales to solve service related problems. The Field Service Representative displays a high level of ability and competence, especially in the area of face to face customer service skills. At least 90% of repairs are performed in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Services, repairs and calibrates instrumentation in the field and in the service depot.
- Works on a broad range of lab instrumentation or may spend a majority of time on one line of instrumentation with some portion of their time on other instrumentation.
- Performs installation of instrumentation and offers support to the Sales team to solve service related problems.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and calibration services that are assigned each month requiring ISO documentation to be completed and submitted to customers
- Self-schedules work efficiently with customers as the requests come in.
- Conducts self in a professional written and verbal manner and is clear and concise in explanations to customers.
- Advises customers of repair status on an ongoing basis.
- Responds to dispatched service calls within the guidelines provided.
- Gives full and detailed account of time and work performed via the service work order being submitted after each service call or PM. Adheres to standards relating to work orders.
- Performs other related administrative duties each month such as expense reports, etc.
Minimum Requirements /Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized technical institution in the discipline of Electronics or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience as either a Service Technician or two years as a Field Service Technician

Représentant de service sur la route
Le représentant(e) du service après-vente effectue la maintenance, les réparations et l’entretien préventif de divers instruments sur les sites des clients et occasionnellement à l’atelier. En plus d’effectuer l’installation et de l’étalonnage de l’instrumentation scientifique en laboratoire, collaborer, avec les représentants des ventes, à la satisfaction du client, en cas de problèmes liés aux appareils. Le représentant(e) du service après-vente démontre d’excellentes aptitudes de communication en matière de service à la clientèle. Environs 90% des réparations sont effectués sur le site du client.
Responsabilités:
• Entretenir, réparer et étalonner les instruments sur la route et dans le centre de services.
• Travailler sur une gamme d'instruments de laboratoire, soit la majorité de son temps sur un type d'instruments ou soit sur une variété d'autres instruments.
• Effectuer l'installation de l'instrumentation.
• Exécuter la maintenance préventive et les services d'étalonnage attribués chaque mois. Nécessite de compléter la documentation ISO et la soumettre aux clients.
• Planifier et gérer son calendrier de rendez-vous avec les clients afin d’assurer une efficacité du travail selon les assignations sont reçues.
• Adopter une communication professionnelle écrite et verbale.
• Garder les clients informés en permanence de l’état de la réparation.
• Répondre aux assignations de service conformément aux directives fournies dans le but de respecter les standards de qualité de la compagnie.
• Rédiger un rapport de service précis et détaillé après chaque appel de service ou maintenance complété.
• Exécuter chaque mois d'autres tâches connexes, telles que des notes de frais, formations, réunions etc.
Exigences minimales / Qualifications:
• Diplômé(e) d'un établissement technique reconnu dans le domaine de l'électronique ou une formation et / ou expérience équivalente.
• Expérience minimum de deux ans en tant que technicien de service.
- Capable de communiquer en Français et Anglais, oral et écrit.
