We have an exciting opportunity within Siemens Healthineers and are actively recruiting for a Field Service Representative working with our hospital diagnostic laboratory equipment to be based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, this role will execute all service activities assigned in an adequate and appropriate manner. This will also include all service incidents, installation, preventative maintenance, and system modifications on demand. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with very strong technical and customer service skills. The physical territory is Western Canada with the majority of the work in Edmonton. Responsibilities: Service, maintenance, installation and commissioning of Laboratory Diagnostic Systems Prompt follow up and follow through to customer resolution Display a high level of critical thinking to bring successful resolution to complex problems Control and completion of electronic documentation Guide the maintenance of tools, test equipment and calibration material Planning and scheduling of service and maintenance duties Interfacing with customers to provide quality service and support Qualifications: Biomedical Electronics or Electronics Technologist or equivalent diploma Field service experience is an asset Solid computer skills Customer service experience Valid driver’s license Start challenging yourself today in an environment that embraces diversity and rewards innovation with competitive pay, great benefits, and a global network offering real opportunity for growth and advancement.
