TITLE: Field Service Technician 4 COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. DUTIES: Preventive maintenance, modifications and installations on Siemens AT diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately. Completion of required Siemens technical training courses in the Cardio-Vascular (AT) modality which includes Axiom Artis VB30, Artis Zee Certification, Artis One System certification, Artis Zeego Upgrade certification, Axiom Artis U, Clinical Angio Application, DRF Systems with Fluorospot Compact , Syngo incl. Leonardo Workstation, SyngoX Workplace InSpace 3D and DynaCT Certification and Upgrade from Artis zee systems (VC21) to Artis Q Qzen Artis PURE , Artis System Image quality certification and General Installation Training for Mechanical Installers (MIV's) for Artis systems. Complete documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work for Siemens’ AT line of products. Guide the assessment of the most complex installation and service of product and equipment performance based on field support data. Design modifications or improvements. Lead the negotiation and administration of service and systems contracts. REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and 7 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the above listed fields and 5 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with the following skills: experience servicing Siemens AT imaging systems; proven ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose & correct complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system malfunctions with Siemens AT imaging systems; proven ability to mentor/instruct other engineers with repair and maintenance of Siemens AT imaging systems; proven ability to read, understand and apply technical information from Siemens service manuals and schematics to install, set-up, troubleshoot and repair Siemens AT imaging systems; proven ability to operate Siemens AT imaging system to generate images, demonstrate & check operation; proven ability to successfully complete preventative maintenance & update procedures for the assigned AT imaging equipment. Must have completed required Siemens technical training courses in the Cardio-Vascular (AT) modality which includes cardiac, neuro bi-plane and vascular imaging systems. Approximately 40% travel required.
