A. Responsibilities:

1. Performs repair & overhaul on aircraft wheel & brake assembly per customer specifications, OEM specifications and other technical requirements.

a) Read & assess customer’s work contract , yellow cards to issue traveler.

b) Do wheel and brake receiving inspection for part numbers, serials information, wear, defective and abnormal condition.

c) Do subcontracted wheel and brake receiving inspection

2. Performs Final Inspection on aircraft wheels & brakes, generates Airworthiness Release CAAC, FAA certificates as required and issue green tags, finish outbound delivery in SAP system.

3. Reads and comprehends overhaul manuals, blueprints, and technical publications.

4. Operate the company’s SAP system in relation to work document generation, parts ordering, and certifying processes on the work performed.

5. Record any internal First Pass Yield found during the inspection.

6. report the quality issue to quality manager.

7. Checks CMM on a regular basis for new releases, revisions, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letter and new customer requirement.

8. Verify compliance of personnel to CMM requirements, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters and customer requirements.

9. Works accurately and efficiently on individual assignments or as an active team member.

10. Can take part as a member in various steering committees as required.

11. Perform other duties as assigned by Operations supervisors.

12. Submit Kaizen ideas monthly minimum 2ea.

A. Education/Experience Required/Sought:

1. High School graduate or equivalent with 3 or more years related field in a high production, fast-paced environment;

2. CAAC component repair personnel certificate.

3. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, technical publications, CMMs, Work Instructions, Repair Station Technical Manuals to perform duties in compliance with customer requirements.

4. General knowledge of precision measuring tools with skills and prior work experience in hydraulics or pneumatics.

5. Can read, write and understand English language.
