Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, personable and self-motivated Finance Administrator to join our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) business on a 12 month fixed-term contract based in East BrisbaneFor the right candidate, this role can be full-time or part-time (minimum 4 days).

Reporting to the Regional Controller, this position will provide finance and administrative support for the operational financial activity of the ARDx division.

Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):

  • Applying the relevant policies and procedures for vendor creation, customer creation, purchase orders, expense coding, invoicing and service agreements
  • Reviewing proposed pricing and quoting agreements
  • Daily report maintenance
  • Weekly and monthly financial reporting and analytics
  • Monthly financial control reporting and consolidation
  • Support for contract and tender submissions and retention
  • Data entry and administrative support as required

Who we’re looking for:

  • Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. Alternatively, a seasoned professional looking to scale back
  • Up to 3 years’ experience in a financial admin role
  • Basic understanding of financial business accounting
  • Proven experience and high level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for analytics
  • Ability to communicate, written and oral, effectively to all stakeholders

Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before commencement and maintain their vaccination status.
