Finance Analyst ( Temp Contract )

Job Description
Working for ASOS (Shanghai) Commerce., Ltd you’ll be part of the Finance team reporting to the Finance Reporting Manager.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for the preparation of bank reconciliations and payments to customers that are owed a refund.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Obtain payment request with proper approvals from customer care;
• Review payment request to ensure completeness and tie to order number;
• Process payments;
• Update cash journal;
• Perform bank reconciliation;
• Perform cash count on a monthly basis;
• Liaise with customer care to ensure refunds are done in a timely fashion.
• Process accruals and Prepayments
• Assist the finance manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
What Success Looks Like:
• Payments are made in a timely fashion to our customers;
• Bank reconciliations reconcile;
• Correct approvals are obtained prior to all payments being made;
• Process is rigorous and scalable.
Skills and experience you will need:
All candidates must have the right to live and work in PRC
Experience
• University educated preferably in Finance/Commerce
• Passed or studying for accounting qualifications
• Retail background useful
• Experience in an online business a significant advantage
• History of working with a high growth business a plus

Hard working
Experience of working with Hybris and/or Netsuite an advantage
Dedication to accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of Microstrategy software a strength
