What you will do for Siemens Digital Buildings: Joint responsibility with Segment Head DB in the US to direct the development of short- and long-range targets and financial goals for the business segment Digital Buildings which includes P&L and Balance Sheet oversight, Cash Management as well as controlling & reporting of all business KPIs. What We Ask of You: Business Management P&L responsible together with Segment Head in the US including all commercial activities, business transactions and process improvements to meet segment growth targets (Financial KPIs) such as orders revenue, cash flow and profitability. Lead development of new eCommerce tools and processes for Software sales with focus on SaaS and PaaS Manages the financial analysis and the research of complex business topics using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx Create business cases for new software product launches in the U.S. market Drive and involvement in all strategic topics (Growth initiatives, HC investment, etc.) to ensure all financial aspects are considered at any business decision. Responsibility to execute and control/track all segment relevant activities including strategic business plans and to ensure the targets are achieved Be a U.S. leader in Digital Buildings segment transformation of Order2Cash process including electronic payments, self-serve customer portals and electronic document exchange Support development of digital transformation projects related to SAP Hana, MS Azure, Zuora, Snowflake Reporting, Planning and Forecasting Planning, Reporting and Forecasting of all financial KPI’s on a monthly and quarterly basis as well as yearly budgeting Responsible for controlling/analysis of Business Segment financials including: financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement), orders, backlog, revenue, product price levels, product discounts, operational costs. Partnership Management Responsibility includes direct external customer interaction and visits customer sites to help drive business with VAPs (Value Added Partners) with special focus on Software and Security Business Initiates and maintains internal/external partnerships relevant for successful business. Key interface for segment specific topics with Global Headquarter and ensuring process and content alignment on topics like the strategic business plans. Other internal, cross functional partners include Head of Sales, Business Unit Management, R&D Management, IT, Supply Chain Management, Siemens Corp Tax Department, International Sales, Territory Managers, Factory Leadership, Field Sales organization, SI and BP Finance. Controllership and Governance Controlling and realization of productivity, cost savings, cash flow, and asset management targets. Responsible for proactively conducting in- depth analyses about the business development of DB Segment on a regular basis. This includes comprehensive overviews to bridge profitability, price erosion and product mix. Supports and ensures compliance initiatives are implemented and adhered to.
