The Finance Business Architecture Team has an important part to play in delivering this vision through leading the integration and effective management of Finance processes, information, organisation and technology.

Key components of your new role!
Communications:
Plan and design and implement a communication approach for the Finance Business Architecture team’s outputs – predominantly, but not exclusively, the Finance Strategy for the next 5 years. The key audience initially is the senior leaders of Finance, growing over time to include the cascade to the whole Finance function and to the rest of the business as appropriate. Channels of communications may include presentation, Workplace posts, print, audio and video media
The role will be responsible for coordinating the dissemination of the communications internally through meetings, special events, briefings or other means to reach defined audiences and manages internal employee communications to enable specific programme objectives
Being a confident individual, you will enjoy working with stakeholders across all levels of our organisation, across different time zones and with people from many cultures, building networks and supporting colleagues. Engaging with the organisation to drive business success by providing clarity and direction on business objectives and overall strategy through formal and informal communication channels. Impacts and influences leadership thinking and behaviour on communication and engagement at a strategic level and facilitate two-way dialogue with the organisation to drive continuous improvement
Change Management:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate clear and consistent messaging, understanding of business drivers and employee needs, leadership coaching, change communication, strategic and effective channel management including the development of key program metrics and feedback mechanisms
Provide organisational support to the Head of Finance Business Architecture, as well as the Leadership Team, (currently 3, but growing)
Often working independently and in a fast-paced environment, you must be able to respond to changes in customer and stakeholder demands with composure and have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations
Administration
The roles involves coordinating internal and external meetings which can include members of the Finance Leadership Team (FLT)
You will also be responsible for organising and preparing material for key meetings, along with supporting global conference calls, virtual meetings and coordinating travel plans for the team as required
Essential for the role
Proven experience of planning and delivering internal communications campaigns, particularly in relation to a new strategy and target operating model impacting all function employees
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent administrative, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills, particularly senior leaders
Goals and solution oriented, demonstrating initiative and proactivity in the provision of support to the team
Ability to think beyond boundaries of own job, challenges status quo and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
Excellent team working, networking and influencing skills and ability to engage relevant AstraZeneca staff and leaders in developing solutions
