As the Finance Intern-Treasury, you will be a core part of the Treasury Operations team and will gain invaluable experience in a Treasury environment by working as part of a global team who are responsible for managing Eaton's day to day Treasury requirements. This internship is designed for 6 months and upon successful completion, we will encourage you to apply for our Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). FLDP aims to accelerate Early Talents towards leadership roles via exciting job rotations, challanging assignments abroad and a robust learning curriculum. If succesful, you will spend 1 year in Dublin working for 2 different teams and 1 year in another of Eaton’s European locations. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious individual who would like to pursue their career within a leading global engineering company. Start Date: March 2022 Your key deliverables: • Cash & Liquidity- assisting the team with cash positioning, forecasting, intercompany lending / borrowing and short-term investments / borrowings. Coordinating and executing funding requests and processing of key Treasury payments. • Trade Finance - working alongside the team to analyse and assess bank guarantee applications, reconcile bank guarantee fees and prepare necessary reporting as required. Eaton's Global Trade Finance Centre of Excellence is responsible for managing the issuance and reporting of Bank Guarantees across the globe. • Factoring - execution and analysis of the Factoring activity for the Irish based Factoring Programme by ensuring timely execution of all payments, elimination of foreign currency exposures and the assignment of appropriate credit scores to all customers. Qualifications Are you? A recent graduate / or final year student of Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance or any applicable field? Experienced with IT and system skills including MS Office? (Knowledge of treasury or trade finance beneficial) Detail oriented, analytical and accurate with documentation and reporting? Able to work under pressure to manage projects and drive for results? Fluent in English? Then we want to hear about you!
