Responsibilities:

• In-charge of financial and management reporting, ensure they are in compliance with IFRS and corporate standards
• Analyze and review financial information against targets/trend
• Monitor the inventory status to minimize the exposure of wastage and obsolescence
• Direct and coordinate planning and preparation of forecast and annual budget
• Review and provide cost and benefit analysis for business initiatives
• Involve in financial audit and internal audit matters
• Assist functional managers in reviewing and negotiation of contracts and agreements
• Responsible for the insurance renewal process and provide timely analysis on the adequacy of insurance coverage and potential risks
• Participate in ad hoc assignments and projects

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting (or similar qualification) and qualified accountant with 8+ years of relevant working experience
• Retail industry is an added advantage
• Strong self-motivation and personal integrity, with good analytical and leadership skills
• Well organized to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Work independently with hands-on approach
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
• Proficient in MS Excel is a must
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
