The Job

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Manage the daily finance, information technology, materials management and accounting operations
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports (BS, P&L forecast, cashflow and commentary on results)
• Work closely with General Manager to provide financial advice and assistance, including reports, data and analysis on country performance as well as advice for cost control
• Supervise the Shanghai finance team, allocate work and set team members’KPI
• Supervise the routine work of finance team, and guide them on the latest local tax policy and relevant accounting knowledge
• Be responsible for the annual budget preparation, and any forecast updates
• Liaising with external auditors & tax advisors to complete the annual financial & tax audits
• Responsible for setting up and monitoring the financial management system, policies and procedures
• Ensure suppliers, taxes and payroll payments are made on time
• Establish internal accounting organization guide date management system and financial management policies
• Ensure that all financial activities have to be healthy and legal，supervise company accounting jobs，reports and budget
• Responsible for financial analysisand auditing cost，charge control and tax planning，submit to higher level to review
• Analyze and evaluate company business and financial status regularly. provide price guidance to existing and new coming projects
• Identify and drive appropriate change processes to ensure that the team provides the best possible service to Starbucks Coffee China organization on an ongoing and future basis
• Revenue tracking & analysis to ensure profitable growth and strategic investments in operation to drive business improvement
• Transfer finance knowledge to management team, coach and improve financial acumen of management team

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

• A proven track record in successfully managing a team
• Experience with the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports.
• Strong technical competence in financial control
• Exceptional Microsoft Office, Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to work to priorities workload so that monthly deadlines are achieved.
• Can deal with ambiguity and adapt changes quickly; demonstrate strong driving force and possess strong communication skills; Consistent self-learning capabilities
• Willing to be involved in the hands-on work in the Finance team. Formal Business Finance Qualification (BA), at least 4 years of cumulative experience
• Strong business partner and strategic thinker with the capacity of developing strategies to support operations and business objectives.
• Excellent English skills compulsory (oral, presentation, report writing)
• Must be comfortable to work in the cross functional teams and fast growing environment
• Good team player, with a positive attitude, and ability to take ownership and resolve issue
• F&B background is preferred
