Job Description
The incumbent assists the Head of Finance to oversee the Agency’s general financial management, accounting operations, financial control policies and procedures, system and process improvement, risk control environment. He/she will need to be responsible for financial analysis to facilitate corporate development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of accounting, budget control and financial reporting functions
- Review processes, systems and operation to identify key business risks and information insufficiency areas (operational and financial)
- Develop and provide proper guidance and regular training to different users
- Prepare accounting and operation procedures and manuals
- Provide professional advice to Agency’s senior executives in the areas of financial analysis, budget planning, compliance, internal control, system and process improvement
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
- Professional qualification with member of CPA or equivalent designations is a must
- Minimum 5 years related experience, with at least 2 years post-qualification of CPA or equivalent at managerial level
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese
- Experience in financial management for non-profit/social service organizations is a definite asset
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, highly independent, able to deliver on target and work under pressure
- Effective teamwork, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential
