THE COMPANY
‘Gispen China’ is specialized in manufacturing and selling Office Furniture. As a 100% daughter company of ‘Ahrend International’ - a leading European Office furniture brand - we set out an aggressive growth strategy in China during the past few years. As such, we are constantly on the look for the next big (domestic) office project, as well as remaining to be a trustworthy partner for our global customers. Our factory employs between 100-150FTE, and has a young and dynamic management team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Becoming the Finance Manager of Gispen China is an ideal 2nd step in anyone’s career looking to develop his/her international financial management skills. It not only offers you all aspects of independently running the finance department of a factory, but also provides you with the opportunity to become an integral part of a company’s management team. Affinity with accounting/finance, enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to go the extra mile, are what it takes to be successful in this job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Control
a. Treasury Management, incl. Foreign Exchange Control (hedging)
b. Monthly Margin Analysis
c. Periodic Stock Checks and Analysis
d. Ad-Hoc Investment and/or Cost Analyses
2. Accounting
a. Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Reporting, in PRC GAAP and IFRS
b. Quarterly Budgeting and Forecasting
c. Monthly Payroll Management
3. ERP (Kingdee / K3)
a. Continuous improvement and implementation of new modules.
b. Regular Maintenance and control of ERP system.
4. Other
a. Liaison with Auditor/Bank/Government
b. Internal Regulations and Compliance
c. Other tasks, incl: HR, Legal, IT and Facility Management
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master’s degree in (Intl) Business, Finance or Accounting.
2. Minimum 2yrs experience as Financial Manager.
3. Acquainted with IFRS accounting standards. Knowledge of PRC GAAP is a pre.
4. In-Depth knowledge of Excel. VBA-Skills preferred.
5. Strong affinity with (ERP) systems/processes.
6. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Dutch language is preferred. Basic knowledge of Chinese is a pre.
7. Enthusiastic, curious, team-player, willing to go the extra mile.
LOCATION
The factory is located in the Shanghai area.
