Purpose of the Job:

To assist in the management of the day to day financial activities relating to all Werner Co entities residing in China and provide recommendations for the ongoing improvement in profitability and processes of the business.

To ensure that the trial balance accurately reflects the performance of the business and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

• Prepare or assist in the preparation of all internal and external reporting
• Perform variance analysis on monthly results and draft a briefing
• Prepare sales and profitability analysis as requested (espec. based on product portfolio/SKU level and customer basis)
• File or assist in the filing of all direct taxes
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (especially related to Working Capital (inventory, A/P, A/R) and drive rolling Working Capital KPI analysis
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of the rolling quarterly forecast
• Work with the management team to ensure ongoing process improvements
• Manage the cash flow of the business
• Assist the commercial manager as requested

Experience & Education:

Minimum of 4 years total business experience, thereof not less than 2 years experience in a similar role working with a WOFE (Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise)

Preferably CPA (or equivalent) qualified or studying towards

Degree qualified in an Accounting discipline

Experience in Kingdee or large ERP system (GDE, SAP or similar)

• Ability to review and analyse results and processes for trends/issues etc
