CallisonRTKL seeks a Finance Manager to join its finance and accounting team located in Shanghai. This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, provides leadership in financial accounting, and maintains the accuracy of the accounting data through the company’s global and local accounting system. The finance manager will primarily be in charge of the company’s business segments in mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore, and report to the Asia controller directly.

Responsibilities

• Reviews accounting vouchers and records to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and transactions in accordance to International Accounting Principles and Chinese local statutory requirements
• Performs month-end journal entries to close the books on a monthly basis in accordance with company deadlines and oversees or reconciles general ledger accounts
• Oversees closing activities to make sure closing is conducted smoothly and timely
• Consolidates and completes overall financial statement that includes all China entities and branches
• Oversees monthly tax calculation, declaration, reporting and represents company to communicate with Tax Bureau when needed
• Interfaces with internal and external auditors for control testing and audit requirements
• Reviews processes to help streamline accounting activities
• Performs analysis and critical review of all general ledger balances to ensure financial statement accuracy
• Leads, trains, and manages the team and collaborates with other accounting functions
• Assists Asia controller or company's senior management in dealing with other matters as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 8 years financial and general ledger experience with at least 3 years of managerial experience
• Experience in financial statements consolidation between U.S. GAAP and PRC GAAP
• Hong Kong accounting and tax experience
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Detailed, prudent and professional spirit especially on figures, with effective and efficient working performance
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
