The Finance Office is looking for an accounting professional with good finance knowledge to assist in the management of the financial activities of the University. Reporting to the senior management of the Finance Office, this role have the following responsibilities: 

1. Design, develop and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports; carry out analysis and make recommendations to the management; 
2. Implement new budget process and consolidate budget of the University;
3. Act as the project lead on process re-engineering, system enhancement and chart of accounts revamp, etc. to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal control;
4. Act as a finance business partner to provide valued financial support and advice to other University offices;
5. Support the University’s Facilities Management Office in managing budget and expenditure of Large Capital Projects; and
6. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and a recognized professional accounting qualification with substantial relevant work experience. Knowledge and experience especially on finance process re-engineering are highly preferred. They should be good team players with excellent interpersonal skill and ability to deliver result independently. Being willing to take up responsibilities with a can-do mindset is also essential. Previous experience on implementation of large-scale finance systems will be an advantage. (Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
