POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Title:                        Finance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:   

The Finance F&A will lead source-to-pay tasks in the organization of China. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Subject matter expert for the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process
• Perform monthly P2P trainings
• Provide 2nd level customer support and escalation management
• Liaise with local & regional finance teams to assist with business growth
• Document desktop procedures, quick reference guides, and policies
• Compile weekly exception reports and distribute for resolution
• Ensure manual payments requests are aligned with Corporate policy and are appropriately approved prior to payment release
• Tracking C2P KPIs like PO Compliance, on-time payments, blocked vendors
• Responsible for driving improvement of C2P KPIs and follow-up with RAEs and Management Team if needed
• Assist in audits, and control reviews
• Invoice intake validation to ensure proper controls of payments
• Create and align withholding tax payments process for vendor payments
• Manage manual payment processes and tax office liaison
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of Genpact
• Prioritize job duties according to terms and urgency
• Communicate issues that have potential for escalation to Management
• Develop and maintains active communication with internal client groups and business partners as necessary to effectively perform job responsibilities
• Actively seek process improvements

This individual will work with internal and external clients and business partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of global payment activities and will ensure that Procure-to-Pay Service objectives are met in a timely manner. Additionally, the individual will use technical expertise to perform research within SAP and various other tools to perform day-to-day activities and bring closure to identified issues. Finally, this individual will ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures and will support and implement process improvements and departmental initiatives, keeping controls at the forefront.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:      

• Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of directly related experience OR
• Associates degree & 8 years of directly related experience

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field
• Advanced degree/certification such as Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP), CPA , CMA
• Minimum 6 years of progressive operational experience in accounts payable, purchasing, finance, accounting, and/or auditing
• Knowledge and understanding of procure-to- pay process
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• Advanced analytical skills – Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
• Language skills:  English + Mandarin
• Excellent business acumen (e.g., knowledge of business drivers, finding solutions, and ability to evaluate risk/benefit)
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work in teams
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage complex and multiple tasks
• Ability to take initiative and work in teams in a fast-paced environment
