The Finance Manager assists the Head of Finance and otherwise takes charge of (with the delegated authority of the Head of Finance) some responsibilities under the Finance Office to manage all financial (including management, budgeting, analysis and reporting) of all ISF entities (currently comprising The Independent Schools Foundation, The ISF Academy and The ISF Pre-School).

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise month-end closing, financial reporting and control mechanism. Ensure financial control is maintained and efficiency is achieved with existing financial system, processes and procedures
• Supervise the keeping of accounting records, the preparation of financial reports and statements, budgeting and financial analysis, etc.
• Monitor donations and prepare financial for Fund Raising Committee
• Maintain and enhance the functionality of the SAP from the user’s perspective
• Act as Secretary for Financial Aid Committee, review and handle Financial Aid applications
• Liaise with both internal and external auditor to ensure both the internal control and external reporting are meet with requirements
• Perform ad hoc assignments as needed

Requirements: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or other related discipline
• Qualified CPAEffective team player and excellent interpersonal skills Effective team player and excellent interpersonal skills Effective team player and excellent interpersonal skills
• More than -8 years of solid accounting and financial management experience, with at least 3 years of managerial experience
• Have solid experience in producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses
• Have solid experience in reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets
• Experience working in sizable and complex organizations; experience in education sectors would be an advantage
• A full member of an internationally recognized accounting professional body  
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese/Mandarin
• A knowledgeable and experienced user of modern SAP / ERP and accounting systems
