Job Summary

Provide financial support and business partnership for the $3.5B Renal Care GBU.  This role will lead financial analysis that supports R&D, Business Development, and various strategic initiatives in the GBU.  Role requires ability to collaborate cross functionally in a highly matrixed environment in support of GBU initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership for the holistic Renal Care GBU including identifying areas for growth and improving profitability
  • Support the development & compilation of GBU wide senior leadership presentations & updates
  • Develop deep understanding of global product markets, strategies, and risks/opportunities for products & business models supported
  • Role will lead and oversee the development of financial valuations for the R&D pipeline, Business Development & Operations projects, perform due diligence and provide investment recommendations
  • Manage financial planning and reporting processes for LRP, R&D Prioritization, Sales Planning
  • Lead the development & management of strategic initiatives & KPIs for the GBU like the Vitality Index, Profitability, R&D Milestones, etc.
  • Role will have three direct reports

Key success criteria include:

  • Analytical and process management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Master's degree preferred
  • Intermediate/advanced worksheet financial modeling skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing direct reports. Ability to lead and influence others, drive to innovate, and comfort managing through complexity and change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management, ability to work in a team environment, and communication/presentation skills are critical.
