Job Description

Job purpose: 
As a part of the Finance Department regulatory reporting team of 5, you will contribute to achieving the team’s objectives to produce reporting and improve workflows. With the well-established global network and strong reputation of the bank, this job opportunity will allow you to gain experience and develop within our fast growing international bank. The existing team is dedicated, experienced and operates in a cross-skills environment. 
 
Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following: 

 
• Participate, along with the regulatory reporting team (5), in preparing regulatory reporting for CSSF and BCL Luxembourg regulators, financial reporting and other management reporting. 
• Prepare the regulatory reports for two entities, with 7 EU branches and 2 subsidiaries: FINREP, COREP and associated regulatory ratios such as LCR, NSFR, Large Exposure, Leverage, Statistics, Anacredit, etc… using a combination of automated and manual procedures. 
• Control the accuracy of the data uploaded into the regulatory reporting database. 
• Control the output reports against internal checklists and regulatory checks. 
• Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures. 
• Liaise with service provider/s to troubleshoot any issues. 
• Liaise with internal IT department to improve data extracted from banking systems. 
• Liaise with auditors (internal and external) to provide documentation. 
• Propose improvements and participate in projects to update existing processes, procedures and controls.  
 

Qualifications

Profile (Technical Skills): 
• Experienced and comfortable with handling and analysing financial data. 
• Flexible with working hours, as extended hours may be required during specific reporting periods. 
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft tools. 
 
Profile (Soft Skills): 
• Work independently and effectively to deadlines, drive for results, focus on quality. 
• A good team player with good planning, organizing, learning and information seeking skills.  
• Detail-oriented, organized and accurate working attitude, flexible and solution-minded. 
• Committed, confident, determined, and self-motivated with strong work ethic. 

Education: 
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business Related Studies.

Experience: 
• Working experience in Banking Industry or Finance Department is considered an asset.

Language skills: 
• Fluent in English is essential; other languages will be an advantage.
