The Finance Business Architecture Team has an important part to play in delivering this vision through leading the integration and effective management of Finance processes, information, organisation, and technology.

What you’ll do
In line with the development of the Finance strategy and roadmap of projects, you will work with the project team to provide Finance Operating Model expertise in support of the design and implementation of business processes, systems and ways of working. As an expert you will lead the successful development and deployment of the target finance operating model, structures, and governance framework along with supporting the identification and implementation of key capability requirements vital to embedding change.
Your primary goal is to partner with the project team and Finance stakeholders to identify how the target state and changes to systems, processes and ways of working will impact the future Finance organisation. This includes validating the operating structure, ensuring it is aligned to the vision and strategy, and defining key role groups, Finance sub function accountabilities and personas, whilst optimising Finance processes, information, data & technology.
Work with the Finance Governance Director to ensure current and future finance change projects include operating model, organisation design, governance and capability considerations and impacts as part of their scope and plans as required.
In conjunction with HR, define standards and governance required for new organisation structures and design for projects on the Finance roadmap.
You will be a key consult on the implementation of the optimum Finance operating model and associated Organisation Design, ensuring any resulting people impacts are led by HR in line with the people implementation plan.
Work with the Finance L&D team to identify and find solutions for capability requirements and solutions for the future state operating model and structure. You will be a key part of the project teams to understand the impact of change on roles at an individual and organisational level.
Collaborating with HR and L&D as well as other relevant stakeholders to provide Finance expertise organisation and capability consultancy as required by the business in support of priority Finance related projects
Essential for the role
Experience of working across the Finance organisation with an understanding and experience of future looking and progressive Finance processes, information, data and technology and how these work together in the most optimum operating model
A Finance operating model and organisation design specialist with significant experience of operating at a similar level in a complex, global organisation
Ability to influence senior leaders, collaborate, build rapport and develop trust. Clear communication and ability to articulate the benefits of good organisation design
Keeps up to date and uses insights on Finance best practice, trends and developments to story tell, influence and inform
Desirable for the role
Experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading the operating model and change workstream of global Finance Business Transformation programmes
Experience in defining capability requirements, L&D strategies, and managing from plan to execution.
Post graduate or professional qualification in OD, Change Management, Process or Performance Excellence
