This role plays important part for finance insurance operation such as premium collection, benefit payment, reinsure accounting & settlement, suspense clearing, and system administration related to policyholder contract. He/she will take part in general closing ledger process such as collection account reconciliation and other system initiative.
Addition to this, this role will handle tax accounting, reporting and planning and liaise with tax authority

1-Premium collection (5%): Review and provide analysis on premium collection through collection channel.

2-Benefit payment (5%): Review and reconcile claim and surrender posting entry and facilitate on benefit payment.

3-Account payable processing and maintenance (30%) include T&E, Vendor and intercompany

4-Suspense clearing & Monitoring (15%): Review on bi-weekly basis on aging of suspense account and facilitate with operation and sale team to settle those pending.

5- Tax accounting & reporting (15%): Assist in tax return preparation. Prepare tax analysis report and advise any tax saving.

6- Financial reporting and ledger closing (10%): Review and reconcile collection accounts and assist financial reporting

7- Policy administration and reconciliation (10%)

8- Finance system support (10%): Assist on ad-hoc project which assign by line manager as well as immediate project on system enhancement/ solution.
