In this role, you have the opportunity to

You are responsible for

  • Manage the project so that the expected end product is produced.

  • Plan the project and ensure it remains aligned with ongoing business case.

  • Delegate and monitor project roles.

  • Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.

  • Present project plans & status updates to the Project Board forconsensus & decision making

  • Ensure relevant stakeholders remain informed, engaged and committed as per stakeholder analysis.

  • Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally (if applicable)

  • Reports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training (if applicable)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.

  • Progressive experience in Finance functional roles.

  • Knowledgeable of project management methodologies.

  • Experience with PRINCE2 is preferred. Experience with Lean Six Sigma is desired.

  • Relevant experience in the process optimization and reengineering domain, either in Philips or external.

  • Proven track record in managing implementation of projects and motivation of teams.
